China Silk Road Discovery Tour

Day 1. Arrival Xi’an (西安）

Our tour guide will pick you up from Airport or train station to welcome you to Xi’an and transfer to hotel. It is the Chinese historical city on the Silk Road. Overnight: Xi’an

Day 2. Visit in Xi’an City

After breakfast in the hotel, drive one hour to visit the well-known Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. The noteworthy art of 2000 years pits in the museum is just breath-taking moment for you. Next, drive 14km to the old city wall built during Ming-Dynasty 600 years ago. And, explore the impressive Muslim Quarter. Ancient type of China market, shops, restaurants and old houses structure are amazing.

Day 3. Fly to Dun’huang

Take the morning flight to Dun’huang, a hub town on the ancient China Silk Road. You will be checked in hotel upon arrival. In the afternoon, you will visit the Singing Sand Dunes and Crescent Spring in the desert. In the evening, we will explore the famous Dun’huang night market. Overnight: Dun’huang

Day 4. Bullet Train to Turpan

Before heading to Turpan, we will visit the gem of ancient Silk Road Mo’gao Caves. It was dating back to 4th century and rebuilt a number of times according to history. The vibrant murals, statues in Mo’gao Caves depicts various stories about Buddhism. Next, we will drive 2 hours to Liu’yuan station to board in bullet train to Turpan. After 3 hours, we will arrive in Turpan and check in hotel. Turpan is a basin in Xinjiang province well known for its hottest weather in China. Overnight: Turpan

Day 5. Turppan Sightseeing

There are many historical sites popular for its unspoiled circumstance in Turpan. We will visit Bezklik Grottos, Astana Ancient Tombs, the Ancient City of Jiaohe and Gaochang, Karez Irrigation System, and Emin Minaret with a local tour guide. Overnight: Turpan

Day 6. Drive to Urumqi

After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive 3 hours to Urumqi. In the afternoon, we will visit Xinjiang Museum, Mummies, Lou’lan Beauty and Xiao’he Beauty. Afterwards, drive to the Heavenly Lake and explore the remarkable sight. Overnight: Urumqi

Day 7. Fly to Kashgar

Take flight the morning flight to Kashgar and explore the popular Grand Bazaar, Apa Hojia Tomb, Idkar Mosque, and the old town. Animal bazaar will be included if it is set time on Sunday. Overnight: Kashgar

Day 8. Departure
